How to create a request

API call is made by simply-to-use REST service. Just build URL with 3 required parameters:

ID
API key
Control sum

Where ID is different based on the request type you make:

VIN Decode Info - ID is string info
VIN Decode - ID is string decode
VIN Stolen Check - ID is string stolen-check
Vehicle Market Value - ID is string vehicle-market-value
OEM VIN Lookup - ID is string oem
Get balance - ID is string balance

Control sum is calculated as first 10 characters of SHA1 hash made of:

If the API call contains a VIN: VIN|ID|API key|Secret key
The VIN must be in UPPER CASE.
If the API call doesn't contain a VIN: ID|API key|Secret key

End point for the API web service is accessible at https://api.vincario.com/3.2/.
